RHH LLC ("we", "us", "our") operates the What's Up, Baby? mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

1. Information We Collect

Account Information

When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and authentication credentials through Firebase Authentication. You may also sign in with Google or Apple.

Pregnancy & Health Data

To provide our services, we collect pregnancy-related information you enter, including:

• Due date and pregnancy week
• Baby name, gender, and related preferences
• Weight entries, symptom logs, sleep data
• Kick counter sessions and contraction timing
• Journal entries, letters to baby, and mood data
• Bump photos and profile photos
• Appointments, expenses, and birth plan preferences

Partner Sharing

If you use the partner sharing feature, we store partner connection data and share selected pregnancy information with your linked partner account based on the permissions you configure.

AI Chat Data

When you use the AI assistant feature, your messages and pregnancy context are sent to OpenAI's API to generate responses. We store chat history in your account for continuity. OpenAI processes this data according to their API data usage policy and does not use API data for training.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide pregnancy tracking, weekly guides, and personalized content
• To sync data between your devices and with connected partners
• To power the AI assistant with relevant pregnancy context
• To send you notifications about appointments and milestones (with your permission)
• To improve our app and fix bugs

3. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored securely using Google Firebase (Firestore database and Firebase Storage). All data is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections. Photos are stored in Firebase Storage with authenticated access.

We implement Firebase Security Rules to ensure users can only access their own data, with controlled exceptions for partner sharing.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with:

• Google Firebase — for data storage, authentication, and app infrastructure
• OpenAI — for AI chat responses (messages and pregnancy context only, processed per their API policy)
• Your linked partner — only the data you explicitly permit through permission settings

5. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access your data through the app at any time
• Update your information in your profile settings
• Delete your account and all associated data through the app's "Delete Account" feature, which permanently removes all 23 data collections, stored photos, and your authentication record
• Disconnect your partner at any time through partner settings

6. Children's Privacy

What's Up, Baby? is not intended for use by children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

7. GDPR & CCPA Compliance

For users in the European Union, we process data based on your consent and our legitimate interest in providing the service. You may request data export or deletion by contacting us.

California residents may request disclosure of data collected and request deletion under the CCPA.

8. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, all data is permanently removed within 30 days.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app or via email.
